Safely Home

Elder and Sister Stamps were slated to go from Tampa to Atlanta and then to Portland. With Atlanta being iced in, many of us were concerned. We were able to confirm that flights were being delayed, but we had no contact with the missionaries themselves - until a text came just after 1pm indicating that they would be on a different flight. It turns out that they'd been rerouted so they flew to LA from Tampa, bypassing Atlanta entirely. They arrived safely in Portland around 3:30, welcomed by two sons, two daughters-in-law and three grandchildren.

All accompanied them to the stake center, where another son was able to join the group, where the missionaries each shared an experience that was meaningful to them prior to being officially released.

Welcome home! Here's a picture from the airport (apologies for the back lighting). I have a video as well that I'll post when I can.
